What our Graduates Say about the program

 My name is Wayne, and I'm the second graduate from the  Forged by Christ Men's Discipleship Center. I want to take a moment to thank Darren Huey and all the individuals who have made this center possible. When I came there, I was coming from the streets, living behind Walmart on cardboard, and knew little to nothing about what Jesus had done for us. I was a lost and lonely homeless addict with no direction or hope for anything better. But in nine short months of being at Forged by Christ, I have learned who Jesus is and what he's done for us and how great he will work in your life if you just let him. I gave him my life on November 4th and got baptized with my son, and I have given all my worries and concerns over to him. In the 38 years I've been alive I have tried everything to become a better person and to live a stable life and nothing has worked once I have given it to God and allowed him to work in my life and have followed him and spread his word of greatness I have now been released from probation have acquired a driver's license that I haven't had in 15 years have a great job that provides for me and my family my children are back living with me and are very proud of me. I have a stable home, a large church family, and friends who are always there for me. So thank you for allowing me to start a new life and introducing me to the best friend I could ever have, Jesus Christ. 

 What forged by the Christ has done for me it has gave me stability, structure,and a close relationship with Jesus Christ. It has taught me how to love myself so I can truly love others. Yea my life was a mess but with the foundations of this program and all the members of the church giving a helping hand and truly caring honestly for my greater good. I have achieved many goal and set good boundaries for a life worth living. I've destroyed happy homes and drug people through the muck most of my life. And committed multiple crimes. Spent over half my life locked up because society didn't need me on the streets. This program has helped change my attitude towards people and my actions. This is the longest I've been out of prison in my home town since 1997. I've never made it with out falling over and over again. I now have a firm foundation. And a rock to continue to build on. My relationships have grown and are full of true love. I've never felt whole heartedly happy and honest with my self until now. I can't wait to see what God has planned for the rest of my life. I wouldn't trade this on going happiness for anything. It's a never ending battle against the evil of this world but with the firm foundation that has been giving to me after I prayed for this years ago in a lonely prison cell all torn to peices God answered my prayers gave me the path and I took the first step and put action with it and we accomplished great things and will continue to conquer the evil and rise to the greatest higher power ever Jesus Christ.  

 This discipleship program has been a transformative journey in my life. Through weekly Bible studies and church attendance, I have deepened my relationship with Christ in ways I never imagined. It has strengthened my faith, giving me a new perspective and a renewed purpose rooted in His teachings. Beyond my spiritual growth, this program has also positively impacted my relationships with my family, helping us connect on a deeper level through shared faith and understanding. I have discovered a new way to live guided by Christ’s love and principles which has brought peace, direction, and hope into every aspect of my life. This experience has truly shaped who I am and who I am becoming.
